Kevin Juza, Certified Leadership & Life Coach

Inspiration

Like many of us, I’ve always been drawn to (and inspired by) stories that showcase examples of human accomplishment. While their specific goals are interesting, I’m primarily curious about each person’s unique journey.

What drove their desire? Who and what helped them rise above the daily noise and keep going? How did they shift gears and maintain motivation while skirting (or blasting through!) the inevitable external and internal obstacles?

As they strive for their personal best, I’ve observed three essential elements—ones we can all harness— connection, vision, and tenacity. But how they tap into these is unique to the individual.

That’s why I bring curiosity to my coaching approach, too. It’s fundamental to helping my clients clarify the gap between the past or present and the future they want.

Their goal could be a change in their circumstances, energy, motivation, team dynamics, and life’s direction. And yes, they often describe that as feeling stuck—even afraid to make a misstep.

I love to help them find and embrace connection while clarifying their vision and the factors that fuel the personal (or team) tenacity to achieve it.

In coaching relationships, we forge a safe space for exploring what matters and what an optimal future would be. They tap their curiosity and feel more confident as they tune in to their inner guidance systems. They also have someone in their corner as they take steps to create their dream.

It helps that I’ve coached so many over the years to close those gaps. It also helps that I’ve navigated the same paths on more than one occasion, myself!

Experience

During my 20-year+ business career, I’ve worked for multiple Fortune 500 Companies—managing up to 5 states, 200 locations and 5,000 people. I’ve led inside sales and operations teams at small technology companies. I’ve started and owned two businesses in retail fitness center and real estate property management. And I earned a master’s from the University of San Francisco in Human Resources and Organizational Development.

And after more than 20 years in corporate America, I decided to take the reins and live my own dream: to be a leadership and life coach, helping clients fulfill their life's purpose. I became accredited through the International Coach Federation, and earned my ACC credential and ontological coach training through Accomplishment Coaching.

Life taught me that change is not just inevitable—it’s what brings opportunity… IF you welcome it as an equal partner in creating a purposeful life and pursue dreams with tenacity.

Joys

I’ve been married to my wife, a teacher, for 22 years. I am a father of twin girls who are in high school. Being a father is one of my greatest pleasures. I think I learn more from them and how they approach the world, than I can ever teach them on how to navigate through life.

I love to play golf, camp, travel and ride my bike. In 2018 my daughters and I accomplished a goal of riding our bike across California, from Yuma, AZ to Encinitas, CA. It was a great experience to have to plan and train for 8 months to be able to accomplish the 7 day, 257-mile, camping and riding adventure.

It would be my joy to help you explore what’s possible for your life, too.
